Who manages your data at Horyzont Finansowy?

The administrator of your personal data is Marcin Wiśniewski, running the company Horyzont Finansowy based in Łódź at ul. Piotrkowska 104. We have been operating on the market since September 2017 and from the very beginning we have focused on transparency. We are not a large corporation that trades in databases. We are a team of 14 specialists who need your information solely to legally lower your taxes or help you obtain an EU grant. According to the letter of the law, we ensure that every piece of information you provide to us is secure and stored only as long as necessary.

Concrete results, not promises – that is our principle also in terms of data protection.

What data do we collect and why do we do it?

We collect only the information that is necessary for our work. When you fill out the form on our website, we ask for your name and surname, email address, and phone number. We do this to prepare for our first 25-minute conversation. Thanks to this, we do not waste your time on basic questions during the meeting. If you use our tax calculator, the data you enter there (such as income or current tax rate) is used solely to generate a preliminary result. We do not save these numbers permanently in your profile until you decide to contact us yourself.

In the event that you decide on a tax audit or grant application, the scope of collected data may expand to include company information, such as Tax ID (NIP) or financial data from the last 3 years. They are processed solely for the purpose of executing the order. Since September 2017, we have served 423 clients and have never shared their trade secrets with third parties. Your data is used for our fight for a VAT refund or obtaining capital, not for marketing purposes of other companies. Processing takes place on the basis of your consent or the necessity of performing a contract that you sign with us.

Cookies and technology on the site

Our site uses so-called cookies. These are small text files saved on your computer. We use them so the site works faster and so we know which of our articles (e.g., about recovering VAT) are most helpful to you. We use tools like Google Analytics, but we do it anonymously. We do not know exactly who you are until you enter data into the form yourself. We only see that someone from Łódź or the surrounding area read about modernization grants for 7 minutes. This helps us write better texts and better tailor the offer to the needs of the local market.

At any time, you can disable cookies in your browser settings. You must know, however, that then our tax calculator may not work correctly. Cookies also help us maintain high security standards on the site. Thanks to them, we know if someone is trying to break into our systems or disrupt the work of the service. We treat technology as a tool that is meant to make life easier, not a tool for surveillance. We count every penny of our technological costs, so we only invest in solutions that actually improve your safety while browsing the Horyzont Finansowy website.

Your rights and control over information

You have full control over what we know about you and your company. According to GDPR regulations, you have the right to view your data at any time. You can ask for its correction, for example, if you change your phone number or office address. You also have the right to be forgotten. If you decide that you no longer want to work with us and we have no common settlements, we will delete your data from our database. Just one short email to biuro@horyzont-finansowy.pl. We will not cause problems or ask unnecessary questions.

Additionally, you have the right to limit the processing of data or its transfer to another entity. If, for example, your new accountant needs a report on our previous actions, we will prepare it for you. Remember, however, that we must store some data due to tax regulations and the accounting act (usually for 5 years from the end of the year in which we completed the project). This applies mainly to invoices we issued for our services, e.g., for a preliminary audit in the amount of 2,840 PLN. Apart from these exceptions, your will is decisive for us.

Data security in the Gold & Graphite system

Your privacy is protected not only by law but also by technology. Our site has an SSL certificate, which means everything you enter in forms is encrypted. We chose the Gold & Graphite theme not only for its prestigious look but also with legibility and security in mind. Our servers are located in modern data centers located in the EU, which guarantees the highest standard of physical and digital protection. Access to your documents is limited to a number of 14 employees who have signed rigorous confidentiality agreements.

Simply put: we do not skimp on the security of your invoices. We know that you entrust us with sensitive information about the profits and costs of your company. In 2024, our clients went through 47 tax audits and in no case was there a data leak on our side. We use strong passwords, two-step verification, and regularly clean mailboxes of unnecessary attachments. Your trust is more valuable to us than any marketing database. If there were ever any breach (which hasn't happened since 2017), you will find out from us within 24 hours.

Changes in policy and contact

The world of financial and EU regulations changes dynamically, which is why our privacy policy may also be updated. We usually do it once a year or when new guidelines from the Office for Personal Data Protection come in. We will inform you about any significant change on this page. However, we do not change our main principle: your data is your property, and we are only its temporary guardian for the duration of the project.
